Yes, we simply ask that students attending classes should be interested in visual arts and want to expand their skills. This way the students will show focus and will participate in the tasks offered. Behaviour in class should reflect interest in the group and project and not disrupt other students.


Redlands Art School offers a variety of classes and workshop events. Weekly after school classes are aimed at school aged children, holiday workshops are also varied and will offer all day and part day options. Schools can employ us to facilitate art club's, artist visits and artist in residence programs. We run professional development and can tailor any program to suit the needs of our clients. We also run adults classes and foster beginner adults in a variety of workshops run from the start of the year. We create engaging projects that are unique to our experience, we teach painting, drawing, sculpture and more. 


Tuition for Redlands Art School varies depending on the program and classes you choose to take. Please visit our classes booking page or contact us for more detailed  information.


The age requirement varies depending on the program, the age of 7 is the recommended minimum age and we will make a note for our classes and workshops when you are booking that states the recommended age. We also have a specific junior artist program to suit the age group of 7-10, if you feel your child is ready and could participate feel free to email us to discuss your options.


Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions will apply to all workshop and classes bookings, please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. Please read the below terms prior to enrolling into our classes.


  • Extra support. When booking please ensure you advise us in email if  you or your child will need any extra support, be it behavioural, emotional, mental or physical support needed.. We welcome everyone but will need to explain the health and safety guidelines of attending an art room and may need to action the employ of additional staff. Where the parent or guardian or support worker is unable to attend, we will engage extra staff , these costs will need to be negotiated within the costs of the program between the school and the customer or relevant service provider.. Please accept this in understanding that some classes will use tools and processes that could cause injury if the steps and class rules are not understood and followed.
  • Age limits and guides in children workshops. Each class will have a recommended age, this is to ensure the content is appropriate for the level of learning and comprehension. If you have an enquiry about a child who is ready to learn at a higher level simply contact us to arrange a discussion.
  • Allergies.Food and drink. Messy food and drinks could damage artworks please be mindful of this when packing lunches. We ask you observe basic allergy guide lines when bringing food, avoid nuts. We can not guarantee an allergy safe space but we will do our best to facilitate, educate and request safe foods on the days children are booked into classes. Parents must advise us of allergies on booking and when entering the studio. Relevant handover should be given and Epi pens available where necessary. We do not administer medications.
  • All payments are final, classes and workshops are all pre planned and budgeted for.
  • Refunds and credit. There are no refunds for classes or workshop bookings. If you need to cancel or postpone your booking please do so via email in writing so we have all the details we need to assess what we can do to help. Although not guaranteed due to the changing nature of the classes, we may be able to offer a credit to a future date.
  • We reserve the right to use some of the student art from time to time in advertising media including web, social media and other Redlands Art School platforms. Please advise us if you do not wish this to occur.
  • We forbid unlawful behaviour including vandalism, hate speech, bullying, disrespectful behaviour in classes. Students who behave in this way and are disruptive to the class environment will be asked to leave, parents or the relevant body will be contacted. Enrolment can be cancelled without remuneration.
  • Redlands Art School is not responsible for the loss of items brought into the art spaces, we also reserve the right to put aside any objects that could be deemed distracting or dangerous to the fellow students attending.

Return and Refund Policy

 Return and Refund Policy for booking

  • Refunds won't be possible unless requested within 24 hours of booking confirmation, this way the payment for services can be reversed immediately to the customer. Depending on the duration to workshop or class, budget and preparation may have already started please discuss your request in writing with the workshop provider.
  • Credits to future classes are possible. A credit for term fees is limited to a 6 month validity. Workshop credits are valid for the future two workshop cycles to give adequate opportunity to attend. Credits requested should be in writing with at least 2 business days notice prior to class start date. For 9 week and full term booking credit requests please advise this at least one week prior to the start date. Dependent on studio waiting list.
  • Requests for credit need to be made via email to ensure all details are clear. Email learn@redlandsartschool.com.au
  • If the credit is approved the funds usually take up to 14 days to clear and are returned to the original account or card of booking.
